[Slackware] Accessing Windows files from user account in Slackware

I have dualboot machine running Windows and Slackware .While installing slackware, I gave the option that only root can read and write Windows files, but now I want to change this option so that all users can access windows files.

Hi,

Welcome to LQ,

I guess you have an entry about your hard drive in /etc/fstab. Can you please post the line concerning your hard drive here. First you must know which device it is.
For example, my Slackware system partition is /dev/sda12 and is mounted at / , the entry is

/dev/sda12 / ext4 defaults 1 1

What is the entry for your Windows partition?

You will have a line like
Code:
/dev/sda6 /music ntfs-3g fmask=133,dmask=022 1 0
in your /etc/fstab.
You can change the fmask value to 111 and dmask to 0 to allow users read and write access.
