[root@c0nnect root]# now what?!


red hat 9

I typed in root for the login and my admin pass for the pass and this came up: [root@c0nnect root]# how do i get to the linux desktop from here?

As you should have read somewhere, root account is not to be used all the time.
But if you need, you can do
startx
and load the graphical desktop.



By the way: Distros do matter.

to add a user:

adduser

if you dont understand what its asking you for then just hit enter
