[Redhat9] RPM install problems?

Hi, If I try to install a RPM package I get this:

[root@localhost download]# rpm -ivh xmms-mp3-1.2.7-21.p.fr1.src.rpm
warning: xmms-mp3-1.2.7-21.p.fr1.src.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e42d547b
warning: user dude does not exist - using root
warning: group dude does not exist - using root

warning: user dude does not exist - using root
warning: group dude does not exist - using root
1:xmms-mp3 ########################################### [100%]
[root@localhost download]#

And thats it... He doesn't install anything. If I try it with the 'X based' package installer I have to enter the root's password. If i've done that and clicked Ok nothing happens... It's the same problem with all the packages.

Does someone have the solution to my problem? Because I can't do anything right now. :(

Thanks in advance :)

Actually, you needed xmms-mpg123-1.2.7-21.i386.rpm rather than the source rpm. To use the one you downloaded, you have to build the rpm from it since it is source code in rpm format.

The guides can explain better than I.
