[Lenny] Broadcom ethernet interface issue

Hi all,

Today I'm trying to activate my broadcom ethernet interface on my Lenny fresh installation.

Result of lspci | grep Ethernet is like:

06:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation Device 1692 (rev 01)
I found that the correct module for my card should be tg3 but the following commands:

modprobe broadcom
modprobe tg3
/etc/init.d/networking restart

doesn't activate my eth0 interface

Any ideas or suggestions would be lovely

Try using
#ifconfig eth0 down
#ifconfig eth0 up

and then

/etc/init.d/network restart

I'll try that as soon as I get back to work!
