[Kali] Panel shitfts gradually and can't see shortcuts
 

Hello, I'm having a problem on Kali Linux. I've added some shotcuts to the top panel but it shifts to the left from time to time until I cannot see anything I cant even click on Applications menu because it clicks the shortcut behind it.

It fixes when I log out and log in again. I'm looking for a permanent solution, any help?

is this a live install to an encrypted usb ( with persistence)
the recommended install for the normal use of this OS

or to the hard drive on a laptop for use with wireless ( it's other use )

It's installed on my hard drive, yes.

well what is this unknown hardware ?
laptop ( cheep or high-end)
desktop ( cheep or high-end)

nvidia ATI or intell graphics ?
or a hi-bread "chip" that needs bumblebee

most of Kali is CUDA enabled so NOT having a very good nvidia card is not good

this is one rather low end NETbook

remove Gnome3 and the failsafe fall back mode and install lxde ,a lighter weight desktop enviroment



kali is a very special purpose OS

normally "Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS 64-bit" is installed
