[FC4] USB Stick unmounts itself every 30 seconds, cannot put data onit
Hi, I have a 1GB USB stick plugged into my Computer.
It seems to work fine in the firts place, but actually, the only thing i can do, is read data from it, but i can't put anything onto it.
For some misterious reason, the Device unmounts and then remounts itself every 30 seconds or so.
Working with it, becomes pretty impossible that way.
I've plugged it in many different USB ports on my Computer, but the same behaviour appears anywhere.
Any suggestions how to fix this?

I'd suggest stopping the haldaemon (as root):
service haldaemon stop
If that corrects the problem, file a bug report. When you're done testing, you can restart the haldaemon with:
service haldaemon start

this is maybe weird, but haldaemon is not running!
THe USB stick is recognized anyway, but works for only about 30 seconds, as i said.
i manage to mount the devize with writing right though, howver you hardly can save anything onto it, i'm usually not fast enough to save something there...
