'NO CARRIER' in dial-up connection
 
Minicom gives this message when I'm trying to connect. What should I do? There aren't any problems with the phone line!!!

well...i think " no carrier " indicates a wrong connection betw. modem and phoneline.
when you just pick-up the phone, you'll here a standby-tone; that's what the modem is waiting for...
