'GRUB Loading' error message

Hi there,

I have a laptop that runs Windows XP.

I had installed Ubuntu 9.10 in the laptop via CD. Upon succcessful installation my laptop restarted.

A 'GRUB Loading' message appears and my laptops reboots by itself.

I am using a dual-boot system.

I am unable to boot into both my Windows and Ubuntu anymore. I hope that someone could assist me with this issue.

Load your Ubuntu CD. Open a terminal and enter the command: sudo fdisk -l (lowercase letter L in the command)

Post the output here so that we can see your partition structure.
During the install, did you install Grub bootloader to the master boot record? Do you have only one internal hard drive where windows and Ubuntu are both installed?
