YouTube vs GEMA (routing, squid, openVPN)
Hello everyone,
this is my first post and I am no native speaker, please excuse my weak english (and IT) skills. This week I just got enough of "This video is not available in your country..." and I have rented a server in the United States which I want to use to hide my location in Germany. I am now looking for ideas (and maybe help) how to setup "something" which can route traffic from my LAN to the IP-range of Google through the server in the USA to get rid of geo-ip-blocking. What I have at hand:
What I want: I want to get traffic to the IP-range of Google routed through the server in the USA (because of this) With what I have failed so far:
I simply do not know enough about routing/networking and how proxies are working. Can someone please give me a general idea what setup would be used to get the job done? Links to howtos for similar scenarios are also very appreciated. Thank you in advance Sincerely n0xx |
