Does anyone know of a way i can dial my linux box from anywhere and use it's internet connection. I have a cable modem at home but i stay at my girlfirends a lot. I don't want to pay another provider for internet access when I am over at her house. All I want to be able to do is dial up a modem connected to my linux box and share the internet access. Basically become my own ISP... any suggestions...
My second question would be how can i run voice mail at home and still be able to get to my box? ie "press 1 to leave a message press 2 to connect" Catch my drift...
That would only let me execute commands on the linux box, how would i get tcpip running... and share the internet connection.. How would i surf the internet, grab files from the server... etc?
