Arrow your feedback needed regarding squid performance


how are u all!

dear people i need ur feedback regarding squid.u all are well experienced people in *.NIX world.i need to know which OS and filesystem is best for squid.
so kindly share here your experiences you have with different Os's running them as proxy servers.

specially i need feedback for FreeBSD.
any tips to increase squid permonce would be great.
