Question xinetd error message on Suse 9.1: service xxx, accept: Invalid argument (errno = 22)

Hi List,

I am running a Suse 9.1 VPS webserver with xinetd. For some strange reasons, xinetd is flooding the logfile (using syslog) with tons of messages like:
xinetd[<pid>]: service <service-name>, accept: Invalid argument (errno = 22)
<pid> is xinetd's PID and <service-name> is either poppassd, ftp, ssh, smtp, smtps, etc...

Does anybody know what these error-messages mean?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Markus

I believe I found the error... xinetd is/was running twice with very close pids, so I did not realize it was running twice :-(

still investigating why it is started twice, although everything in /etc/rc.d seems ok.
