Question xinetd advanced setup question

HI.

I use SuSE 9.1 with xinetd for services like swat, ftp and telnet.

I would like xinetd to do the following:
If an ftp connection comes in from the local network, i want xinetd to apply the "per_source = unlimited" setting. On the other hand, if it comes from a different network, I want a maximum of 5: "per_source = 5". The xinetd file for ftp service is /etc/inetd.d/vsftp. How must i alter this file to achieve this?

I'm new to xinetd but with inetd I was able to do this.

Thanks in advance

From man xinetd.conf..

Make a second /etc/inetd.d/vsftp file, eg vsftp.local
and use the bind directive to specify the local interface.
Change the original file to the other interface..
The use the per_source attribute to specify in each file how many servers are to run.

The restart xinetd..
