x font server for ltsp

Hi All,
I recently set up a ltsp server and thin client using ubuntu. All went exceptionally smoothly and I am working on the thin client now.
However, a few remaining things need to be fixed.
If I work off the server directly (i.e. connect directly with keyboard and monitor) I have a large number of X fonts, as seen in the "fmly" menu in xfontsel.
However, on the thin client, the options under "fmly" is about 1/5 the size.
I've learned this may be due to the X font server, (something I have no experience of, btw).
I have installed it and it is running
Code:
> sudo /etc/init.d/xfs status
 * xfs is running
I also did added some info to lts.conf, i.e.
Code:
> tail -1 /var/lib/tftpboot/ltsp/amd64/lts.conf
USE_XFS = Y
On reboot, no change.

Now, my question: Do I have to make a change to xorg.conf? If so, which xorg.conf, as there is one in
/etc/X11 and another (for the client) in /opt/ltsp/amd64/etc/X11/ ?

any help appreciated,
-m
