wvdial fails to respond with AIRTEL (GPRS)

Using FC3
Modem : Samsung C-100 mobile set
ISP : AIRTEL (GPRS), India

Problem : wvdial cannot detect my modem

Configured wvdial with the command `wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf' and posted the init2 string value as given by my ISP. Now my wvdial.conf looks like this...

Code:
[Dialer Defaults]
Modem = /dev/ttyS1
Baud = 115200
Dial Command= ATDT
Init1 = ATZ
Init2 = +CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelgprs.com"
ISDN = 0
Modem Type = Analog Modem
Phone = *99**1*1#
Username =
Password =
Stupid Mode=1
when I am trying to connect wvdial it stops after sending init2 string and warning, "No modem detected"

The init2 string value is provided by my ISP
Phone no. is provided by my ISP
U/name and P/word is also kept blank as per direction of my ISP

What is the problem?
Thanks in advance

regards
andinya
