Angry Wu-ftp headaches


I configured /etc/xinetd.d/wu-ftp and added
# default = on
disabled = no

and restarted xinetd and when I run /sbin/chkconfig --list it shows wu-ftp running and wu-ftpd not.I followed every step at http://www.reallylinux.com/docs/conflin.shtml and the ftp server isn't even listing.please please help

Here is what my /etc/xinetd.conf looks like if it helps any

# Simple configuration file for xinetd
#
# Some defaults, and include /etc/xinetd.d/

defaults
{
instances = 60
log_type = SYSLOG authpriv
log_on_success = HOST PID
log_on_failure = HOST
cps = 25 30
}

includedir /etc/xinetd.d

Ok, after doing some reading I found out what was wrong.Now I have the ftp server listing on port 21 and all I have to do is configure it so someone could join...o boy

What would I have to configure to let someone in my ftp when all they have to type is ftp://myip?
