WPA settings for Linux Mint

I have a dual boot 64bit comp. I have just loaded Linux mint onto the computer. What amazed me was that it never asked me for my WPA security code. How do I get the LM to accept the WPA code so that it remains secure? I still can't figure out how it can access my router without it?

Hi, I have some ideas...did you set up the password in the router? If so, and you REALLY want to make sure THAT password (or the password on the router) is being used, change it on the router, besides, changing such a critical password once in a while is a must anyway
Of course, the clue is "dual boot" - there is something on the disk already, chances are the installer scanned the drive for the password...

If there was no password (happened to me at the very first day, but that was a must...) DHCP should pretty much pave the way for you...

I love Linux...dont you?

Thanks if it did deal with the security code by itself them I am satisfied. But for your own happiness that the system is secure I would have thought it should have been a manual input even though it maybe a long code. Thanks again

No sweat! Hope to have re-installed the good-feel about Linux, still by far the safest OS on the planet...
But, changing the code on the router is a routine practice here, not only the router, but also the servers and other critical toys

Happy Linuxin'!!!!
