wireless usb shows up in yast but I can't connect suse 12.1
 

problem I can see and configure my wireless usb device in yast but I can't connect to the internet with it.


Soulotion:
Run "yast"
select "network settings"
under "global options" tab select "user controlled with networkmanager"

Configure network manager applet in your task bar appropriatly

You might have to make sure that you have the "network manager" applet running in your taskbar before you will be able to perform the above steps. To do this click on the far right button on your taskbar and select "add widgets" scroll the bar on the bottom of the opened dialouge until you see "network managment" select it and than try performing the above steps again.
