Wireless Router as Wifi Client?

Is it possible to configure a common Wireless Router as a Wifi client to an existing wireless network so that an ethernet-only device can be accessed via Wifi?

My first thought was that the Access Point feature would do this but it still creates its own network.

If your router supports 'wireless bridging' (many do), this will work.

Unfortunately I have a D-Link DIR-601 on hand and and the manual doesn't mention Bridging. I will find something.

Thank you.
