WinXP auto login with samba

Hi all,

I have several XP machines accessing a Fedora Core 3 box with samba-3.0.10-1.fc3. The XP box will ask for the usename and password if it is rebooted. How can I auotmagically make the XP login after it is rebooted? Thanks.

Mount a network drive in XP.

Agreed, map the drives via windows explorer. XP Pro will be happy to remember the username and password, XP home doesn't. If you don't want the XP home machines to ask for a username and password everytime you can set the "security = SHARE" in the smb.conf file.

public = yes
