Question winipcfg

sup! I got winx installed and have been using it for awhile now. My internet is fine all until AT&T screwed me and shut down for a week. now i can't connect through my LAN. And, which leads to my question, winipcfg does no work when i type it in the run program from the start menu. does winipcfg work in xp or is there another function that i'm suppose to type? thanks if you could help. or is there another way to open my IP Configuration?

Hello

If you are working in a Win NT/2000/XP you can type "ipconfig" at command prompt.

In windows 98/95 you can use winipcfg instead.

There is a switch that forces ipconfig to output more information. In fact it is equal to "ifconfig" of linux world.
