Windows Update through a Linux box

I have a Wind0ze box that I need to run Windows Update on.

I am able to get internet access with a wireless card via Knoppix
and I want to plug the Windows box into my laptop through a
cross-over cable and run Windows Update.

Basically, I want the Linux box to function as a router and I'd also
like to set up a firewall rule so that ONLY windowsupdate.com is
access by the Windows Box.

Could somebody please clue me in on how to do this?

Ilan

The only thing I don't know how to do is to get the ethernet
NIC to basically use the wireless NIC for internet access.

How do I do this? Thanks!

- assign an RFC 1918 IP address to the LAN interface on the router...

- enable IP forwarding on the router (using sysctl)...

- enable IP masquerading for the LAN interface (using iptables)...

- assign an RFC 1918 IP address to the LAN client...

- set DNS server address on LAN client to the same used by router...

- set gateway address on LAN client to IP of router's LAN interface...

- ping router's LAN interface from client to confirm LAN works...

- ping google.com from LAN client to confirm the masquerading works...
