windows print server

I have an epson r300 that wont print from linux.
Is there anyway to sent print jobs to an old windows machine that some how acts as a print server? (kinda backwards from a normal linux print server)

just setup print sharing on the windows box

then use samba/cups to print to the share from linux

I tried this and cups could not add the printer.

From the gnome cups manager

1) I selected add printer

2) I aks for the host, printer name and root password, I used the drop down bar to select jabba as my host(the name of the windows machine) and mr_printer as the printer name (the name the printer is shared as in windows).

3) I press next and select manufacturer & model as Epson and "stylus photo colour" respectively.

4) Then I click apply, and nothing seems to happen

Any advice would be very much appreciated
