WICD getting another ip

Hey guys....WICD is configured to start with a static IP 192.168.0.240, but it always starts with 192.168.0.170. When the system starts I have to disconnect and reconnect for WICD recognize the correct IP. Anyone could help me here ?

Might want to show preferences setup in wicd-gtk also to get better help
Things like General Settings > External Programs > and Advanced Settings.

So far. Not enough info to warrant a reply by most members here.

Oh yeah. /var/lib/wicd has some stuff in it members may need to see also.
