Which database for Joomla website?

I am planning to set up a website in Joomla but I can't decide which database to use. I do not want to use MySQL and therefore my options are PostgreSQL, SQLite and (perhaps?) HSQLDB (the one included with OpenOffice Base).

Any suggestions?

Postgre is good and SQLite is my fav for light applications. What is wrong with MySQL though? For something as detailed as Joomla I'd go with either MySQL or PostgreSQL.

It must be very light. The server is an old PC and that's why I am considering to use SQLite and lighttpd instead of MySQL and Apache.
