which bluetooth dongle

I think this classes as networking...anyway, I just bought a Sony Ericsson K700i phone and want to be able to connect it to my computer via bluetooth. Now I know Linux supports bluetooth with bluez, but is it at all picky about what kind of adapter you use? I mean, can I just by a cheap USB dongle from eBay and expect it to work? Or is there a list of supported ones I should go by?

Don't get the Kensington from Bestbuy! It has short range ( phone has to be right next to laptop ) and currently doesn't have bluez support. It is using a common chip, but the vendor id isn't recognized.

My co-worker has a D-Link ( don't know which one ) and his works fine.
