Where to save IP Masquerading commands?

I am finally able to share my dialup modem connection via IP Masquerading. Here is the excellent HOWTO: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Masqueradi...WTO/index.html

However, I have to type in 8 lines of CLI commands to get it to work. Where/How do I save all eight lines so that whenever the machines boot, it will automatically run the script or sequence of commands?

I am using SuSE 9.0 Professional.

Thanks.

add them to the bottom of /etc/rc.local (i assume suse uses that...) they will then run on boot.

suse doesn't use /etc/rc.local

suse 9.0 doesn't use the file /etc/rc.local

The document I am using was last modified on 19Nov2003 which should be ok for SuSE 9.0. But the document says to put these lines in /etc/sysconfig/network but there is no network file. There is a /network directory under /etc/sysconfig. It has config files for eth0, ppp0 and so forth. Would I put these lines in the ifcfg-eth0 config file?

Thanks.

no, that is just for configuration parameters, not commands. suse will definitely have somethign very similar to that file... look in /etc/

I've looked all through /etc and have not found where those commands can go. I've looked at suse's site without success.

Just another roadblock on my way to understanding linux....
