Where do I find the black/white lists in spamassassin.
Hi All
I need to find out where to find the main whitelists in spamassassin. I have found the user_prefs file for individual users however I want to create a whitelist entry that will apply to the entire server.
As far as I know, the default directory for the location of *.cf files is /etc/mail/spamassassin. So any filename that ends in .cf will be parsed by SA at startup.
With the above in mind, simply create a whitelist.cf file and add any whitelist_from statements you need. Then restart SA.
how do I go about writing the whitelist.cf file.
is it like this?
whitelist_from <ipaddress of domain name> eg *@hotmail.com
also what is the script on restarting spamassassin? I have another problem where we aren't sure is spamassassin is causing the problem, I was thinking about turning it off for 10 minutes to test the theory.
