Where are the network files in Linux?


hello guys i am new in using Linux for networking can any body tell me where i can get network files in Linux setup please help me if any body know about that

Which OS and release?
You can check /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts or /etc/network

That completely depends on your distribution, there is not a single answer.
And you never mentioned that.

Have a look at the install documentation for your distro - it will generally have any needed changes; and by association where the files that need to be changed reside.

It would be far better if you told us what you were actually trying to accomplish. Messing with your networking files can cause you problems, especially if you don't know what you're doing, and are new to Linux.

What is your actual goal, and what version/distro of Linux are you using? Or is this just a homework question??
