Whatsapp not working via IPTABLES and squid

I am a very experienced Linux user for couple of years now.

Lately been installing Centos 6.5 Firewalls for lodges to control and log their internet traffic for customer use etc.

I read on the Internet with people with the same issue as me, with no resolution yet, so hoping maybe someone here can help.

Simple problem

Iphone with WHatsapp works fine with Chat send and reply, but no video or photos can be sent or receive.

Running transparent proxy to assist with browsing reports.
Added port 5222, 5223 and 5228 in squid acl_Safe_port, Allowed FORWARD traffic in IPTABLES for ports 5222,5223,5228, even tried redirecting these ports to squid as well.

Allowed multicasting, but Whatsapp nothing to do with that it seems.

Even allowed full access for the Iphone IP on WIFI, still no luck ... It is obvious that Whatsapp has poor traffic control and don't like/allow proxy connections.
