whats the command to restart the network stuff


sorry, simple question and i must not have the right search criteria within the forms to find something similar to this simple question cuz i cant find the answer yet.

whats the command to restart the network, I made changes to eth0 and it sugested i restart the network before changes would take effect, i dont know what command to run, i wanna do something like
network /restart

help please =)

If you have a samba or nfs server going, you might need to restart those as well. Type
Code:
/usr/sbin/samba restart
to restart these services.

To restart the network type:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/network restart as root

Samba restart samba services but not the ethx
