Lightbulb what is using port 988?

I've run nmap against a Red Hat Linux 8.0 box to find the open TCP ports.
It found 21, 23, 111, 139, 513 and 988.

I enable ftp (21), telnet (23), nfs (111 ?), samba (139 ?) and rlogin(513), but I am at a loss to account for port 988. Any suggestions?

you can also try the following:
Code:
lsof -i TCP:988
here's an example from my linux box at home:
Code:
turnip:~# lsof -i TCP:80
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE NODE NAME
apache 389 root 16u IPv4 2986 TCP *:www (LISTEN)
apache 11785 root 16u IPv4 2986 TCP *:www (LISTEN)
apache 11786 root 16u IPv4 2986 TCP *:www (LISTEN)
apache 11787 root 16u IPv4 2986 TCP *:www (LISTEN)
apache 11788 root 16u IPv4 2986 TCP *:www (LISTEN)
apache 11789 root 16u IPv4 2986 TCP *:www (LISTEN)
apache 21386 root 16u IPv4 2986 TCP *:www (LISTEN)
turnip:~#
