Yes, I tried MobaXTerm, too, but wanted to use built-in mechanisms first (provided they DO work ).

I found a solution to my original problem in this guide here: https://github.com/PowerShell/Win32-...-Win32-OpenSSH and it now all works with the built-in SSH server.
