What are the states in BITCP Congestion Control algorithm?

Hello,

I would like to ask if anyone knows what are the states in the BITCP congestion control algorithm. As far as I know in congestion algorithms such as Reno there is the slow start state, and the congestion avoidance state. How do the states differ from Reno as shown in here https://sites.google.com/site/projec...trol-algorithm
Are there any other states in BITCP? I also noticed that there is a recovery mode in BITCP. Is that when a timeout occurs and the sender has to retransmit data?

Thank you.
