What's the difference between Linux-NAT and Sygate-NAT?

Hi all,

We use RedHat 7.2 as our gateway and NAT server. I setup iptables-MASQ on it. There's no any problem on HTTP and FTP. But in some environment, it's really strange. For example, I like playing Age of Empires game on my PC. But I can't join any GameServer in Internet. If I use Sygate+Windows as our Gateway server, I can do it. So I just feel very curious. What's the difference between these two NAT servers?
Any help will be appreciated.
