wext driver


hi

where can I find a list of all wireless chipsets supported by wext driver ?

Wext isn't a real driver, but rather it is part of wpa_supplicant. You could find out about it there I suppose.

thx, but it means, I can use wext driver for WPA with every wireless chipset ?

Wext will allow wpa_supplicant to work with any chipset. However, if the chipset won't work under linux, wext isn't going to do anything. Again, wext isn't a hardware driver, it is a component of wpa_supplicant.

sorry for the mistake, I mean use wext driver for WPA with every wireless chipset.
