Website redirection script

I am planning on having one static IP and having several domain names pointing to that IP. Ultimately, I want to redirect them to a dynamic IP based on which domain name they requested. I know the script to redirect them, but I don't know how to get which domain name the client requested. Is there a function or something that does this already?

well to redirect them you'd want to presumably serve them back a redirection page via apache, so you'd just have a different virtual server for each domain (see standard apache documentation). Or you could have a single PHP page which can access the referrer directly.
