Website hosting - mail problem
I'm hosting a website on my FC4 system and I'm connected to the internet via a Dynamic IP DSL connection. Earthlink is my ISP.
My problem is that my website generates emails when new users sign up or forget their password. I've tried to make the emails address for Apache and Drupal (CMS) be one of my valid Earthlink address. Occassionaly, I get mail errors from Earthlink about not allowing Dynamic IP or relay mail; not all the time but during heavy traffic time of day. Since this is a hobby and not a business, I don't want to pay for a Outbound Mailhop service if I don't have to. And I'd rather not setup a mail server but could. Is there anyway to configure Apache and my website to use my valid Earthlink email just like I'd written the email using Evolution-Mail? Jim A |
