Hi

I want to set up a very basic webserver for my home network, on an ancient pentium 1 233mhz 128MB Ram 6gb HD PC. I want to install Apache on it if possible. It will be just an intranet to experiment on.

Please can anyone advise on a suitable distro that can handle such an old spec?

I would suggest Slackware, VectorLinux or Debian. Any distro will work fine as long as you don't install a gui or use a minimalist one like fluxbox.
