Hello, i need some advises on setting up a webserver. This server should have services like mysql and php and a smtp like sendmail. I wouldlike a config so that i can have databases on my webserver and i can use php to create a script where people can send mail through.

How should i setup this server? Anyone who knows about a good howto or something?

Its been a few years since I've ran my own server but all you need to do is install apache and download all the services you want. Most distros come with apache, php, mysql, etc. but again this depends on what your doing? Are you wanting to make this a dedicated server or do you just need a server up to run some scripts?
