Webpages/Email takes ages to load after period of inactivity
I am running Fedora Core 2.
It is running great, but if I leave it for a while when I go out (usually a couple of hours), when I get back the internet takes ages to work again. I open Evolution for emails and it sits trying to download them for a long time, web sites do the same. Eventually if I leave it, after about three minutes everything starts working and from then on it is fine. Anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks Robbie |
Could be a DNS issue.
For a diagnostic step, Try loading a page by IP and see if you get any different results.. |
