Webmail login timeout ubuntu linux
 

I am unable to open my emails such as hotmail or gmail in mozilla firefox and opera web browser. I think all secure sites dont work if i try logging in.

When i click login it says after about a minute "connection timeout".

Ive got the latest version of ubuntu linux and fast wireless internet.

Ive made sure that i checked the ssl and tls stuff and i dont have firestarter.

Please help me out.

I had a quick thought that maybe if i open firefox or opera as a super user through the terminal it might work. I will try.
