webdavs: cannot copy certain files

I am trying to copy some M$ created files from and to a webdavs system. Files with the type: "unknown", will not copy. I get the following error message:

File or folder webdavs: ... does not exist.

Do I need to define each of the file types in some way?
Is there a way to get that to work without having to define all the "unknown" types?

I'm using:
KDE
Dolphin/Konqueror/cadaver (all fail)

Your problem is not that the files are of an "unknown type. It is that your system cannot find "webdevs". That is what the error message says.

I have no experience with webdavs, but I found this that might help.

Are you usin glinux? is rsync an option for you? There's a lot of info on the web about rsync for remote connections.

All other files copy fine

Sorry I did not explain it well. I am running Fedora 12 using KDE. All other files come over fine. It is just those few that it will not copy using any of the Linux webdav clients. I have to copy those files using Windows.

I still have this problem. Does anyone have a solution? I think it's a bug.
I read something on the web about mime types before, but cannot find it now.
