web site configuration

Hi guys

i want to configure a web portal for local user. i mean intranet i want to configure.
could you please let me know how can i configure it on Linux machine
i have a RHEL4 machine.

also i want to make a web server too can anyone help me for this too.


also please suggest me some security tips.

I would suggest you consider something like SME-Server: http://wiki.contribs.org/Main_Page
It will easily run as a Virtual Machine, no matter what setup you have. I use it all over the place.
