Web Content Filtering

Hello LQ folks . Been awhile since I've been on here but I've been tinkering around with my network lately... so here I am.

I'm looking for a good web content filtering system that I can install on my Debian 6.0.7 PC to filter for all users. Looking for suggestions.

Thanks!

There may be more than a few ways to help limit web access.

A simple start may be this. http://packages.debian.org/unstable/web/dansguardian

I would be tempted to consider a dedicated layer 7+ firewall/security distro maybe. Even then you need to configure it.

Knowing the skill level of the people you wish to protect also may need to be known. Trying to protect a bunch of old koots or a bunch of hackers?
