WAN port of WLAN router as uplink to another router
I've got a Netgear 614v7 here which i have connected to my main router (which I just call Netgear in this post here) via one of the LAN ports:
DSLModem --> Netgear router <--LAN--Netgear 614v7-->providing WLAN
Netgear router is 192.168.1.1
614v7 is 192.168.1.10
Each connected PC on Netgear get 192.168.1.11-255 and both switches, the Netgear and the 614v7 appear as being on the same net.
When I connect to the 614 via Wireless I am still on the same network.
Now,
is it possible to make the 614v7 make up its own subset 192.168.1.1-255 and translate everything leaving it as being on the "main" net where all the other switches PC etc. reside?
Or is this NAT functionality only possible if the 614v7 would have two ports?
Would it be possible to use the WAN port as Uplink with NAT functionality?
(I am trying to do this to achieve more seperation between my cabled network and the 614v7 which is Wireless-able)
