WAN behind proxy

I'm having a little problem WAN behind a proxy . means I've wan access but it does need proxy to access internet. When I'm trying to pass it behind my own gateway on centos it does not work out . Internet works only on server using following

PHP Code:
export http_proxy=http://10.x.x.x:8080
export https_proxy=http://10.x.x.x:8080
due to that on client end it does not resolve the dns. Any idea how do I resolve this issue to pass the traffic via that proxy of my internal LAN client. I've my own squid running on server as well.

On other hand when I use direct dns on wan mean to pass my request directly on internet with out any proxy it works great. but since my that test server is on a network where Ive to use a proxy for access ing internet. Even Ive tried to add wan dns as my local dns on client end it doesnt work out.

Looking forward for your kind response.
