Wake On Ring

Hi all,

i'm not sure i'm posted to the correct section.Anyway i've installed Ubuntu 9.04 and wanted to test WOR (wake on ring) but what happen was my system did wake up but there's no display.Below is the method that i used.

1. enable the UAR1 by running echo UAR1 > /proc/acpi/wakeup
2. cat /proc/acpi/wakeup to check the UAR enabled
3. run echo mem > /sys/power/state
4. make a call to the machine
5. system wake up but the monitor doesnt show anything.

so could anyone help me.TIA.
