When I try to install VSFTP On A Linux Server with the command:
rpm -Uvh vsftpd-1.1.0-1.i368.rpm i get a error:

Failes dependencies
- xinetd is needed by vsftpd-1.1.0-1
- libcap.so.1 is needed by vsftpd-1.1.0-1
- libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.3) is needed by vsftpd-1.1.0-1

then i have downloaded xinetd-2.1.8.8.p3
I dont know a lot of linux so i used a guide to help me.

i came to segment 5 where i have to give the command "make"
when i do that linux give's the message Unknow command
I dont know what to do?!
so please can anyone help me!?

Go to google. Type.
libcap.so.1
one of the links will tell you what package to get
Then, do it again for
libc.so.6
Then do it for xinetd

Most of the packages can be found at rpmfind.net
