Hi all, ok been trying to get this working for a couple of days so turning to you experts to get me out of the er, quagmire, again.
So currently I am in China, behind the great firewall and got seriously pi**ed with getting Youtube and the like blocked so decided to have a go at the vpn route.
Chose my vpn service on the 'otherside' and installed and have running vpnclient 4.8.01. Problem is, cannot connect. All I get is
Code:
Initializing the VPN connection.
The VPN sub-system is busy or has failed.
My /etc/opt/cisco-vpnclient/Profiles/overplay.pcf file looks like this
Code:
Host=some.overplay.net.servername.
AuthType=3
GroupName=
EnableISPConnect=0
ISPConnectType=0
ISPConnect=
ISPCommand=
Username=username
UserPassword=pwd
# Seg fault if you enable this one
#SaveUserPassword=1
EnableBackup=0
BackupServer=
EnableNat=1
CertStore=0
CertName="OverplayCert.crt"
CertPath="/etc/opt/cisco-vpnclient/Certificates/"
CertSubjectName=
CertSerialHash=
DHGroup=2
ForceKeepAlives=0
and logging does not seem too helpful. All I get is
(snippet)
Code:

I am behind a adsl hardware router/firewall. I have no IP chains loaded (rely on the hardware firewall) and my system is Slackware 13 64 bit.
How do I go about trouble shooting this so I can 'surf in peace'? Any help would be very much appreciated.
Regards, BashTin.
